Exhaustgasescaninjureorkill.Theycontaincarbon
monoxide (CO) which is colorless and odorless.
Breathing it can make you unconscious and can
eventually poison you. To avoid breathing (CO),

SeatBelts
Inspect the seat belt system periodically, checking for
cuts, frays and loose parts. Damaged parts must be
replacedimmediately.Donotdisassembleormodifythe
system.
Donotruntheengineinaclosedgarageorinconfined
areasanylongerthanneededtomoveyourvehicleinor
outofthearea.
Ifitisnecessarytositinaparkedvehiclewiththeengine
running,adjustyourheatingorcoolingcontrolstoforce
outsideairintothevehicle.Settheblowerathighspeed.
Front seat belt assemblies must be replaced after a
collision.Rearseatbeltassembliesmustbereplacedafter
acollisioniftheyhavebeendamaged(i.e.,bentretractor,
tornwebbing,etc.).Ifthereisanyquestionregardingbelt
orretractorcondition,replacetheseatbelt.
