Unlessreset,thismessagewillcontinuetodisplayeach
time you turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN
position.Toturnoffthemessagetemporarily,pressand
releasetheMENUbutton.Toresettheoilchangeindica-
torsystem(afterperformingthescheduledmaintenance)
performthefollowingprocedure:

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (Do not

starttheengine).
PressandreleasetheSTEPbuttontoadvancethedisplay
throughtheTripFunctions.

Fullydepresstheacceleratorpedalslowlythreetimes
within10seconds.
TheTripFunctionsmodedisplaysthefollowinginforma-

TurntheignitionswitchtotheLOCKposition.
NOTE: If the indicator message illuminates when you
startthevehicle,theoilchangeindicatorsystemdidnot
reset.Ifnecessaryrepeatthisprocedure.

AverageFuelEconomy
Shows the average fuel economy since the last reset.
When the fuel economy is reset, the display will read,
RESETorshowdashesfortwoseconds.Then,thehistory
information will be erased, and the averaging will con-
tinuefromthelastfuelaveragereadingbeforethereset.
