If your vehicle is equipped with left and right
windowbags,donotstackluggageorothercargo
uphighenoughtoblockthelocationoftheSide
Airbag Inflatable Curtains (SABIC). The area
where the side curtain airbag is located should
remainfreefromanyobstructions.
Donotattachcupholdersoranyotherobjectson
oraroundthedoor.Theinflatingsideairbagcould
drive the object into occupants, causing serious
injury.

Do not put anything on or around the airbag
coversorattempttoopenthemmanually.Youmay
damage the airbags and you could be injured
because the airbags are not there to protect you.
Theseprotectivecoversfortheairbagcushionsare
designedtoopenonlywhentheairbagsareinflat-
ing.
Do not use accessory seat covers or place objects
betweenyouandthesideairbags;theperformance
could be adversely affected and/or objects could
bepushedintoyou,causingseriousinjury.
•
Airbagsinflateinmoderatetohighspeedimpacts.Along
withseatbeltsandpretensioners,frontairbags,andside
airbagsworkwiththekneebolsterstoprovideimproved
protectionforthedriverandfrontpassenger.
