THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
Auto Window Up — If Equipped
Liftthewindowswitchtotheseconddetent,release,and
thewindowwillgoupautomatically.
WARNING!
When the window is almost closed, there is no
anti-pinch protection. To avoid personal injury, be
suretoclearyourarms,hands,fingersandallobjects
fromthewindowpathbeforeclosing.
To cancel the Auto Up movement, operate the switch
eitherintheupordowndirectionandreleasetheswitch.
Toclosethewindowpartway,liftthewindowswitchto
thefirstdetentandreleaseitwhenyouwantthewindow
tostop.
ResetAutoUp
Anytime the vehicle battery goes dead, the Auto Up
function will be disabled. To reactivate the Auto Up
feature,pullthewindowswitchuptoclosethewindow
completely and continue to hold the switch up for an
additionaltwosecondsafterthewindowisclosed.
NOTE: ANTI-PINCHPROTECTION
•
If the window runs into any obstacle during auto-
closure,itwillreversedirectionandthenstop.Remove
theobstacleandusethewindowswitchagaintoclose
thewindow.
Window Lockout Switch
Thewindowlockoutswitchonthedriver’sdoorallows
youtodisablethewindowcontrolontheotherdoors.To
disablethewindowcontrolsontheotherdoors,pressthe
window LOCK button. To enable the window controls,
pressthewindowcontrolbuttonagain.

Anyimpactduetoroughroadconditionsmaytrigger
the auto reverse function unexpectedly during auto-
closure.Ifthishappens,pulltheswitchlightlytothe
firstdetentandholdtoclosewindowmanually.
