The rain-sensing feature can be turned on and off
through the Electronic Vehicle Information Center
(EVIC) — if equipped. For details, refer to “Personal
Settings (Customer-Programmable Features)” under
“Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)” in
Section4ofthismanual.
• NeutralWipeInhibit—Therain-sensingfeaturewill
not operate when the ignition is ON, and the shift 3
lever is in the NEUTRAL position, and the vehicle
speed is less than 5 mph (8 km/h), unless the wiper
controlismovedortheshiftleverismovedoutofthe
NEUTRALposition.
The rain-sensing system has protective features for the
wiper blades and arms. It will not operate under the
followingconditions:
• RemoteRemoteStartStartSystem)WipeInhibit—The(Vehiclesrain-sensingEquippedfeaturewithwill
notoperatewhenthevehicleisinremotestartmode.
This feature will return to normal operation once
remote start mode is exited. Refer to “Remote Start
System”inSection2ofthismanualforinformationon
remotestartoperation.

Low Temperature Wipe Inhibit — The rain-sensing
feature will not operate when the ignition is first
switchedON,thevehicleisstationary,andtheoutside
temperatureisbelow32°F(0°C).Ifthewipercontrol
is moved, the vehicle speed becomes greater than
