UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
To Accelerate for Passing
Press the accelerator as you would normally. When the
pedalisreleased,thevehiclewillreturntothesetspeed.
WARNING!
ElectronicSpeedControlcanbedangerouswherethe
system cannot maintain a constant speed. Your ve-
hicle could go too fast for the conditions, and you
could lose control. An accident could be the result.
DonotuseElectronicSpeedControlinheavytraffic
or on roads that are winding, icy, snow-covered or
slippery.
UsingElectronicSpeedControlOnHills
NOTE: TheElectronicSpeedControlsystemmaintains
speed up and down hills. A slight speed change on
moderatehillsisnormal.
Onsteephills,agreaterspeedlossorgainmayoccurso
it may be preferable to drive without Electronic Speed
Control.
REAR PARK ASSIST SYSTEM — IF  EQUIPPED
TheRearParkAssistSystemisadriveraidthatsensesfor
obstacles behind the vehicle and provides both visible
andaudiblewarningstoindicatetherangeoftheobject.
Vehiclesequippedwithamanualtransmissionmayneed
to be shifted into a lower gear to climb hills without
speedloss.
