Thetongueweightisthedownwardforceexertedonthe
hitchballbythetrailer.Inmostcases,itshouldnotbeless
than10%ormorethan15%ofthetrailerload.Youmust
considerthisaspartoftheloadonyourvehicle.

FrontalArea
The frontal area is the maximum height and maximum
widthofthefrontofatrailer.
GrossAxleWeightRating(GAWR)
TheGAWRisthemaximumcapacityofthefrontandrear
axles. Distribute the load over the front and rear axles
evenly.Makesurethatyoudonotexceedeitherfrontor
rearGAWR.
