To Vary the Speed Setting
Asoft tap on the brake pedal, or pulling the Electronic
SpeedControllevertowardyou(cancel),ornormalbrake
orclutchpressurewhileslowingthevehiclewilldeacti-
vatethespeedcontrolwithouterasingthesetspeedfrom
memory.PressingtheON/OFFbuttonorturningoffthe
ignitionerasesthesetspeedfrommemory.
When the Electronic Speed Control is set, you can in-
crease speed by pushing up and holding the RESUME
ACCELlever.Releasetheleverwhenthedesiredspeedis
reachedandthenewsetspeedwillbeestablished.

Tapping RESUME ACCEL once will result in a 1 mph

km/h) speed increase. Each time the lever is tapped,

sion,pressingtheclutchpedalwilldisengagethespeed
control. A slight increase in engine RPM before the
ElectronicSpeedControldisengagesisnormal.

TodecreasespeedwhiletheElectronicSpeedControlis
set,pushdownandholdtheSETDECELlever.Release
theleverwhenthedesiredspeedisreached,andthenew
setspeedwillbeestablished.
To Resume Speed
IfyoudeactivatedtheElectronicSpeedControlwithout
erasing the set speed from memory and your vehicle
speed is above 20 mph (32 km/h) you can resume the
previous set speed. To do so, push the lever up and
release(ResumeAccel),andthenremoveyourfootfrom
theacceleratorpedal.
Tapping the SET DECEL button once will result in a
1
mph(2km/h)speeddecrease.Eachtimethebuttonis
tapped,speeddecreases.
