THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
VEHICLE SECURITY ALARM — IF EQUIPPED
The Vehicle SecurityAlarm monitors the vehicle doors,
liftgate, and liftgate flip-up window for unauthorized
entryandignitionforunauthorizedoperation.
willturnoffthehornafterthreeminutes,turnoffallof
thevisualsignalsafter15minutes,andthentheVehicle
SecurityAlarmwillrearmitself.
To Arm the System
If something triggers the alarm, the Vehicle Security
Alarmwillsoundthehornintermittently,flashthehead-
lightsandtaillights,andflashtheVehicleSecurityLight
intheinstrumentcluster.

driver’sdoorlockcylinder.
Rearming of the System
IfsomethingtriggerstheVehicleSecurityAlarm,andno
action is taken to disarm it, the Vehicle Security Alarm
