To avoid damage to your vehicle, tires, or chains,
observethefollowingprecautions:

Donotusetirechainsonvehiclesequippedwith
tiresotherthanP225/75R16orsmallertires.There
maynotbeadequateclearanceforthechainsand
youareriskingstructuralorbodydamagetoyour
vehicle.

Because of limited chain clearance between tires
andothersuspensioncomponents,itisimportant
that only chains in good condition are used. Bro-
kenchainscancauseseriousvehicledamage.Stop
thevehicleimmediatelyifnoiseoccursthatcould
suggest chain breakage. Remove the damaged
partsofthechainbeforefurtheruse.
• Observeon methodtheoftireinstallation,chainmanufacturer’soperatinginstructionsspeed, and
conditions for use. Always use the lower sug-
gestedoperatingspeedofthechainmanufacturer
if different from the speed recommended by the
manufacturer.
