“PADIndicatorLight”isnotilluminatedwhenanadult

pant’sweightistransferredtoanotherpartofthevehicle
(likethedoororinstrumentpanel),theweightsensorsin
theseatmaynotproperlyclassifytheoccupant.Objects
lodgedundertheseatorbetweentheseatandthecenter
console can prevent the occupant’s weight from being
measuredproperlyandmayresultintheoccupantbeing
improperly classified. Ensure that the front passenger
seatbackdoesnottouchanythingplacedonthebackseat
IfthereisafaultpresentintheOCS,the“AirbagWarning
Light”(aredlightlocatedinthecenteroftheinstrument
clusterdirectlyinfrontofthedriver)willbeturnedon.
This indicates that you should take the vehicle to an
authorizeddealer.The“AirbagWarningLight”isturned
onwheneverthereisafaultthatcanaffecttheoperation
oftheairbagsystem.IfthereisafaultpresentintheOCS,
boththe“PADIndicatorLight”andthe“AirbagWarning
Light”areilluminatedtoshowthatthepassengerairbag
