To Unlock the Doors and Liftgate
For vehicles not equipped with the EVIC, perform the
followingsteps:
Press and release the UNLOCK button on the RKE
transmitter once to unlock the driver’s door or twice to
unlock all doors and the liftgate. The turn signal lights
willflashtoacknowledgetheunlocksignal.Theillumi-
natedentrysystemwillalsoturnon.

Press and hold the LOCK button on a programmed

(i.e., functional) RKE transmitter for at least 4 seconds,
butnolongerthan10seconds.Then,pressandholdthe
UNLOCKbuttonwhilestillholdingtheLOCKbutton.
RemoteKeyUnlock,DriverDoor/AllDoorsFirst
Thisfeatureletsyouprogramthesystemtounlockeither
thedriver’sdoororalldoorsandtheliftgateonthefirst
pressoftheUNLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmitter.To
changethecurrentsetting,proceedasfollows:

3. Test the feature from outside the vehicle by pressing
theLOCKandUNLOCKbuttonsontheRKEtransmitter.

Information Center (EVIC), refer to “Remote Key
itsprevioussetting.
NOTE: PressingtheLOCKbuttonontheRKEtransmit-
ter while you are inside the vehicle will activate the
SecurityAlarm.OpeningadoorwiththeSecurityAlarm
activated will cause the alarm to sound. Press the UN-
LOCKbuttontodeactivatetheSecurityAlarm.
