THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
ToEnterRemoteStartMode
PressandreleasetheREMOTESTARTbutton
ToExitRemoteStartModewithoutDrivingthe
Vehicle
ontheRKEtransmittertwice,withinfivesec-
onds.Theparkinglightswillflashandthehorn
will chirp twice (if programmed). Then, the
engine will start and the vehicle will remain in the
RemoteStartmodefora15-minutecycle.
PressandreleasetheREMOTESTARTbuttononetimeor
allowtheenginetorunfortheentire15-minutecycle.
NOTE: Toavoidunintentionalshutdowns,thesystem
will disable the one-time press of the REMOTE START
button for two seconds after receiving a valid Remote
Startrequest.
NOTE:
•
Forsecurity,powerwindowoperationandsunroofor
Sky Slider operation (if equipped) is disabled when
thevehicleisintheRemoteStartmode.
ToExitRemoteStartModeandDrivetheVehicle
Beforetheendofthe15-minutecycle,pressandrelease
the UNLOCK button on the RKE transmitter to unlock
the doors and disarm the Vehicle Security Alarm (if
equipped). Then, insert the key into the ignition switch
andturntheswitchtotheONposition.

Theenginecanbestartedtwoconsecutivetimes(two
15-minute
cycles)withtheRKEtransmitter.However,
theignitionswitchmustbecycledtotheONposition
before you can repeat the start sequence for a third
cycle.
NOTE: TheignitionswitchmustbeintheONposition
inordertodrivethevehicle.
