Children12andundershouldbeproperlyrestrainedinarearseating
positionwheneverpossible.Ifallchildrencannotbeseatedand
restrainedproperlyinarearseatingposition,properlyrestrainthe
largestchildinthefrontseat.

Therearseatheadrestraintsmustberemovedwhenusingachild
seatthatutilizesthetoptetheranchor.
Checktomakesurethechildseatisproperlysecuredbeforeeachuse.

positionwheneverpossible.Ifallchildrencannotbeseatedand
restrainedproperlyinarearseatingposition,properlyrestrainthe

Usethecorrectseatbeltbuckleforthatseatingposition.
Insertthebelttongueintotheproperbuckleuntilyouhearasnap
andfeelitlatch.Makesurethetongueissecurelyfastenedinthe
buckle.

Keepthebucklereleasebuttonpointingupandawayfromthesafety
seat,withthetonguebetweenthechildseatandthereleasebutton,
topreventaccidentalunbuckling.

Placevehicleseatbackinuprightposition.
Puttheseatbeltintheautomaticlockingmode.Refertostep5below.
Thisvehicledoesnotrequiretheuseofalockingclip.
WARNING:Dependingonwhereyousecureachildrestraint,
anddependingonthechildrestraintdesign,youmayblock
accesstocertainseatbeltbuckleassembliesand/orLATCHlower
anchors,renderingthosefeaturespotentiallyunusable.Toavoidriskof
injury,occupantsshouldonlyuseseatingpositionswheretheyareable
tobeproperlyrestrained.
