Whileholdingtheshoulderand
lapbeltportionstogether,route
thetonguethroughthechild
seataccordingtothechildseat
manufacturer’sinstructions.Be
surethebeltwebbingisnot
twisted.

Insertthebelttongueintothe
properbuckle(thebuckle
closesttothedirectionthe
tongueiscomingfrom)forthat
seatingpositionuntilyouheara
snapandfeelthelatchengage.
Makesurethetongueislatched
securelybypullingonit.

Toputtheretractorinthe
automaticlockingmode,grasp
theshoulderportionofthebelt
andpulldownwarduntilallof
thebeltispulledout.

Allowthebelttoretracttoremoveslack.Thebeltwillclickasit
retractstoindicateitisintheautomaticlockingmode.
Trytopullthebeltoutoftheretractortomakesuretheretractoris
intheautomaticlockingmode(youshouldnotbeabletopullmore
beltout).Iftheretractorisnotlocked,repeatSteps5and6.
