Installthedipstickmakingsureitisfullyseatedinthefillertube.

Removethedipstickandinspectthefluidlevel.Thefluidshouldbe
intheoperatingrangefornormaloperatingtemperature.
Yourvehicleisequippedwithoneofthefollowingdipsticks.
Low fluid level
TypeA
TypeB
DO NOT ADD
ADD (CHECK HOT)
Donotdrivethevehicleifthefluidlevelisatthebottomofthedipstick
andtheoutsidetemperaturesareabove50°F(10°C).
Correct fluid level
Thetransmissionfluidshouldbecheckedatnormaloperating
temperatures185°F-200°F(85°C-93°C)onalevelsurface.Thenormal
operatingtemperaturecanbereachedafterapproximately20miles
(30
km)ofdriving.
