Removethefillerplug,located
onthelower,forwarddriver
sideofthetransmission,and
inspectthefluidlevel.

Fluidlevelshouldbeatbottomoftheopening.
Addenoughfluidthroughthefilleropeningsothatthefluidlevelis
atthebottomoftheopening.

Installandtightenthefillplugsecurely.
UseonlyfluidthatmeetsMazdaspecifications.Refertothe
Maintenanceproductspecificationsandcapacitiessectioninthis
chapter.
AIR FILTER
Refertoscheduledmaintenancefortheappropriateintervalsfor
changingtheairfilterelement.
Whenchangingtheairfilterelement,onlyuseagenuineMazdaairfilter
element.
WARNING:Toreducetheriskofvehicledamageand/or
personalburninjuriesdonotstartyourenginewiththeair
cleanerremovedanddonotremoveitwhiletheengineisrunning.
