Anti-theft indicator
Theanti-theftindicatorislocatedintheinstrumentpanelcluster.

Whentheignitionisintheoff
position,theindicatorwillflash
onceeverytwosecondsto
indicatetheSecuriLocksystem
isfunctioningasatheft
deterrent.
•
Whentheignitionisintheonposition,theindicatorwillglowfor
threesecondstoindicatenormalsystemfunctionality.
IfaproblemoccurswiththeSecuriLocksystem,theindicatorwillflash
rapidlyorglowsteadilywhentheignitionisintheonposition.Ifthis
occurs,turntheignitionoffthenbacktoontomakesuretherewasno
electronicinterferencewiththeprogrammedkey.Ifthevehicledoesn’t
start,trytostartitwiththe2ndprogrammedkeyandifsuccessful
contactyourauthorizeddealershipforkeyreplacement.Iftheindicator
stillflashesrapidlyorglowssteadily,thevehiclewillnotstart,contact
yourauthorizeddealerassoonaspossibleforservice.
Automatic arming
Thevehicleisarmedimmediatelyafterswitchingtheignitiontotheoff
position.
Thetheftindicatorwillflashevery
twosecondstoactasatheft
deterrentwhenthevehicleis
armed.
Automatic disarming
Thevehicleisdisarmedimmediatelyaftertheignitionisturnedtotheon
position.
Thetheftindicatorwillilluminateforthreesecondsandthengoout.If
thetheftindicatorstaysonforanextendedperiodoftimeorflashes
rapidly,contactyourauthorizeddealerassoonaspossible.
