anotherstation,presstheappropriatepreset

UnlikeAM/FMradio,digitaltransmitsseveral
servicesonasinglefrequency.Thisgroupof
servicesisknownasanensemble.Theremay
beanumberofensemblesreceivableinsome
areas,eachtypicallycarryingbetween6and12
services.
AnypresetcanbeusedtostoreanyDigital
Radioservice,fromanyensemble.Ifyou
switchbetweenpresetswhichareondifferent
ensembles,thetuningtimecantakeafew
seconds(theword'Searching.... 'briefly
appearsonthescreen).Switchingbetween
serviceswithinthesameensembleisvirtually
immediate.
Digitalradioistransmittedfromregionaland
localtransmitters.Someservicesarenational
orregionalandarereplicatedonmultiple
transmittersthroughouttheregionorcountry.
Otherservicesarelocalandonlyavailable
withinalimitedrangeofonetransmitter.
Ifthereisnoservicestoredonapreset,orifthe
serviceisnotreceivableatthecurrentlocation,
themessage'NoReception'willbedisplayed.
