TPMSprovidesalowpressure
warninganddoesnotre-inflateyour
tyres.Tyrepressuresshouldbe
checkedregularlyusinganaccurate
pressuregaugewhencold.
TPMScanNOTregisterdamagetoa
tyre.Regularlychecktheconditionof
yourtyres,especiallyifthevehicleis
drivenoff-road.
Wheninflatingtyres,careshouldbe
takentoavoidbendingordamagingthe
TPMSvalves.Alwaysmakesurecorrect
alignmentoftheinflationheadtothe
valvestem.
WheelsfittedwithTPMScanbevisually
identifiedbytheexternalmetallocknutand
valve(1).AllLandRovernon-TPMSwheels
havearubbervalvefitted(2).
Note:Non-approvedaccessoriesmayinterfere
withthesystem.Ifthisoccurs,TYRE
PRESSUREMONITORINGFAULTisdisplayed
intheMessagecentre.
Tyrepressuresshouldbecheckedregularly
whencold,andadjustedasnecessary.The
presenceofTPMSdoesnotremovetheneedto
dothistomakesureofvehiclesafety.
Note:DifferenttypesoftyremayaffectTPMS
performance.Alwaysreplacetyresin
accordancewithrecommendations.
TPMSconstantlymonitorsthetyrepressurein
eachwheel,includingthefullsizespare.
Temporary-usesparetyres(whenfitted)are

Thetyrepressurewarninglamp(see36,TYRE
PRESSUREMONITORINGSYSTEM
(YELLOW))illuminateswhen1ormoreofthe
tyresaresignificantlyunder-inflated.Stopand
checkthetyresassoonaspossibleandinflate
themtotherecommendedpressureforthe
vehicle'sloadingcondition.
TPMSalsomonitorsthefullsizesparetyre
pressure.Ifthepressureforthesparetyreis
incorrect,themessageCHECKSPARETYRE
PRESSUREisdisplayed,accompaniedby
illuminationofthewarninglamp.
