Ifjackingthevehicleonaslightslope
isunavoidable,placethechockson
thedownhillsideofthe2opposite
wheels.
DSCmustbeswitchedonwhilethe
temporarysparewheelisinuse.
Tractiondevices,suchassnow
chains,cannotbeusedwitha
temporarysparewheel.
Takecarewhenliftingthespare
wheel,andremovingthepunctured
wheel.Thewheelsareheavyandcan
causeinjuriesifnothandledcorrectly.
LOCKINGWHEELNUTS
Lockingwheelnutscanonlyberemovedusing
thespecialadaptorprovidedinthetoolkit.
Removethesparewheelpriorto
jackingthevehicle,toavoid
destabilisingthevehiclewhenraised.
Note:Whenthevehicleisfirstsupplied,the
adaptormaybestoredintheglovebox.It
shouldberemovedandstoredinthetoolkitas
soonaspossible.
Takecarewhenlooseningthewheel
nuts.Thewheelbracemayslipoffif
notproperlyattachedandthewheel
nutsmaygivewaysuddenly.Either
unexpectedmovement,maycausean
injury.

nut,makingsurethatitisfullyengaged.
Wherefitted,thetemporary-usespare
wheelisFORTEMPORARYUSEONLY.
Drivewithcautionwhilethe
temporarysparewheelisfitted.Make
sureanoriginalsizewheelandtyre
arefittedassoonaspossible.
Usingthewheelbrace,unscrewthewheel
nutandadaptor.
Note:Acodenumberisstampedontothe
undersideoftheadaptor.Thisnumbermustbe
recordedonthesecuritycardsuppliedwiththe
literaturepack.Ifareplacementadaptoris
required,youwillbeaskedtoquotethis
number.Thesecuritycardmustbekeptsafe,
butshouldnotbekeptwiththevehicle.
Donotfitmorethanonetemporary
sparewheelonthevehicleatanyone
time.
Donotexceed50mph(80km/h)while
thetemporarysparewheelisfitted.
Thetyrepressureinthetemporary
sparewheelshouldbe60psi(4.2Bar,
