HALOGENBULBS
Dependentonvehiclespecification,halogen
bulbsmaybeusedforhighbeam,dipped
beam,andfrontfoglamps.Takecarenotto
touchtheglasspartofthebulbwithyour
fingers;alwaysuseaclothtohandlethebulb.
Ifnecessary,usemethylatedspiritstoremove
fingerprints.
XENONLAMPS
Replacementormaintenanceof
xenonlampsshouldonlybecarried
outbysuitablyqualifiedpersonnel.
Highvoltageisrequiredtoignitethe
gasandmetalvapourwhichareused
topowerxenonlamps.Contactwith
thisvoltagecancauseseriousinjury.
Donotplacetheremovedlampunit
Xenonlampunitsoperateatavery
hightemperature.Makesurethelamp
unitshavecooledbeforeattemptingto
touchthem.
facedownonhardorabrasivesurfaces.
Doingsomayscratchthesurfaceofthe
lens.

Pullupthelockinglevertoreleasethe
headlampunit.
Seekadviceaboutthecorrect
disposalofxenonlampunitsfrom
aDealer/AuthorisedRepairer,or
yourlocalauthority.

Pulltheheadlampunitforwardtoallow
accesstotherearoftheunit.
Disconnecttheelectricalconnectorfrom
thebackoftheunit,bypressingthetaband
pullingtheconnector.
