thegarage)isequippedwithanantenna,make
suretheantennaishangingstraightdown.
Donotusethetransceiverwithany
garagedooropenerthatlacksthe
safetystopandreversefeature,as
requiredbysafetystandards.
Whenprogrammingthetransceiverto
agaragedooropenerorentrygate,
makesuretheareaisclear.Thiswill
preventpotentialharmordamageas
thegateorgaragedoorwillactivate
duringtheprogramme.
PROGRAMMING
Thisdevicemaysufferfrom
interferenceifoperatedinthevicinityof
amobileorfixedstationtransmitter.
Thisinterferenceislikelytoaffectthe
hand-heldtransmitter,aswellasthe
in-cartransceiver.
Withtheengineswitchedoff:
Thedoortransceiverislocatedintherear-view
mirror.Itcanbeprogrammedtotransmitthe
RadioFrequencies(RFs)ofupto3different
transmitters,whichcanbeusedtooperate
garagedoors,entrygates,homelighting,
securitysystemsorotherRadioFrequency
(RF)operateddevices.
1. Makesuretheignitionsystemison.
2.
Holdtheendoftheoriginalgaragedoor
openerhand-heldtransmitter50to150
mm(2to6inches)awayfromthe
transceiverintherear-viewmirror,keeping
theindicatorlampinview.
3.
Usingbothhands,simultaneouslypress
andholdboththechosentransceiver
buttonontherear-viewmirror,asshown
above,andthehand-heldtransmitter
button.Keepbothbuttonspressed.The
indicatorlampwillflashslowlyatfirstand
thenchangetoafastflash.Whenthe
indicatorlampflashesrapidly,releaseboth
buttons.Therapidflashinglampindicates
successfulprogramming.
Althoughthissectionmainlydescribesthe
proceduresforagaragedooropener,itequally
appliestothepreviouslymentioned
applications.

BEFOREPROGRAMMING
4. If,after60seconds,theindicatorlamp
doesnotflashrapidly,releaseboththe
transceiverandthehand-heldtransmitter
buttonsandrepeattheprocedurestarting
withStep2.Positionthehand-held
transmitteratadifferentangleand/or
distance.
Whenprogrammingadevicethatmay
requireyoutopressandre-pressthe
hand-heldtransmitter(cycle),unplug
thedeviceduringthecyclingprocessto
preventpossiblemotorfailure.
