suitableblunttool,knockthecentrecapoutof
theremovedwheel.Usinghandpressureonly,
pressthecentrecapintothenewlyfittedspare.

Lockingwheelnutadaptor.
Raisethevehicleusingthejack,witha
slowsteadyoperation.Avoidrapid,jerky
actionsastheymaycausethevehicle/jack
tobecomeunstable.
WHEELCHANGINGSAFETY
Beforeraisingthevehicleorchangingawheel,
makesureyoureadandcomplywiththe
followingwarnings.

Removethewheelnutsandplacethem
togetherwheretheycannotrollaway.
Alwaysfindasafeplacetostop,off
thehighwayandawayfromtraffic.

Removethewheelandplacetooneside.
Donotlaythewheelonitsface,asthismay
damagethefinish.
Makesurethatthevehicleandjack
arebothonfirm,levelground.

Fitthesparewheeltothehub.
Applytheparkingbrake.EngagePark
(P).
Re-fitthewheelnuts,andlightlytighten
them.Makesurethewheelismaking
contactwiththehubevenly.
Switchonthehazardwarninglamps.
Makesurethefrontwheelsareinthe
straightaheadposition,andengage
thesteeringlock.

Makesurethespaceunderthevehicleis
clearofobstructions,andlowerthevehicle
slowlyandsmoothly.
Disconnectanytrailerorcaravanfrom
thevehicle.
Withallofthewheelsonthegroundand
thejackremoved,fullytightenthewheel
nuts.Thewheelnutsmustbetightenedin
sequence(seeillustration)tothecorrect
torqueof133Nm(98lb.ft).
Makesureallpassengers,and
animals,areoutofthevehicleandin
asafeplaceawayfromthehighway.
Placeawarningtriangleatasuitable
distancebehindthevehicle,facing
towardsoncomingtraffic.
Neverplaceanythingbetweenthejack
andtheground,orthejackandthe
vehicle.
Alwayschockthewheelsusing
suitablewheelchocks.Placethe
chocksonbothsidesofthewheel
diagonallyoppositethewheeltobe
changed.
Note:Ifitisnotpossibletotorquethewheel
nutswhenawheelisreplaced,theyshouldbe
settothecorrecttorqueassoonaspossible.
