afterthevehiclehasbeenwashed,thismaybe
duetowaxorotherresidue.Shouldthisoccur,

betweenwipeswhenposition(1 )is
selected.Thehigherthesettingthemore
frequentlywipesoccur.
Note:Thewindscreenwillnolongerbewiped
effectivelyandtheautomaticrainsensing
functionwilldegradeifthewipersbecome
worn.Alwaysreplacewornordamagedwiper
bladesassoonaspossible.ThewipersWinter
parkpositionwillmovethewiperstoallow
wiperbladereplacement.See44,WINTER

switchoffthewipersandvehicleignition,when
safetodoso.Clearanyobstructionsandfree
thewiperblades,beforeattemptingtoswitch
ontheignition.

wiperswilloperatefor2furtherwipesafter
thestalkisreleased.Afterafewseconds,a
dripwipewillclearanyresidualwasher
fluidfromthewindscreen.Ifmorewasher
fluidisrequired,pullandholdthestalk
position.
SPEED-DEPENDENTMODE
Note:Thefrontwiperswillnotoperate
whilethebonnetisopen.
Frontwipers
Ifthevehicle'sspeeddropsbelow8km/h(5
mph)withthewipersoperating,thewiperswill
switchtothenextlowestspeed.Whenthe
vehicle'sspeedincreasestoover8km/h(5
mph),theoriginalwiperspeedsettingwillbe
restoredautomatically.
