Ifadonorvehicleistobeused,bothvehicles
shouldbeparkedwiththeirbatterylocations
adjacenttoeachother.Ensurethatthetwo
vehiclesdonottouch.

Usingasubstitutebatteryfittedtothe
disabledvehicle.
Applythehandbrakesandensurethatthe
transmissionofbothvehiclesissetinneutral

Usingboostercables(jumpleads)to
connectthebatteryfromadonorvehicle
tothedischargedbattery.

TurnoffthestarterswitchandALLelectrical
equipmentofBOTHvehicles,thenfollowthe
instructionsspecifictopetrolordieselengine

andareapprovedforusewith12volt
batteries.

boostercablesarekeptawayfromany
movingpartsintheengine
