Beforefoldingeitherpartoftherearseat,
ensurethattheouterrearseatbeltsare
correctlystowedintheirbeltclips(see
illustration).Toavoiddamagingthecentre
seatbelt,rollthebuckleneatlyandstowitin
thespaceprovidedatitsanchorpointinthe
centreoftherearseat.
Tofoldeitherpartoftherearseat,pressthe
appropriatereleasebutton’A’,thenfoldthe
backrestdowntoposition1.Tofurther
increasetheloadspace,foldthebackrestand
seatbasetogethertoposition2.
REARSEAT
WARNING
DONOTadjustanypartofaseatwhilethe
vehicleisinmotion.
Whenreturningtherearseattoitsnormal
position,ensurethatthebackrestissecurely
latchedinplacebeforedriving.
Ensureyourfingersareclearoftheseat
latcheswhenfoldingtherearseats.
NOTE:Iftheseatbaseisnotfullylatchedin
positionitwillnotbepossibletoraisethe
backrest.
Foldingtherearseats
Oneorbothpartsofthesplitrearseatcanbe
eitherpartiallyfoldedtoprovideauseful
horizontalsurfaceorfullyfoldedtofurther
increasetherearloadspace.
WARNING
Whentheseatiserected,thelatching
mechanismshouldbevisuallycheckedand
physicallytestedtoensurethatthelatchis
securebeforedriving.
