hosesshouldberenewed.Allworking
surfacesofthecalipercylindersshouldbe
examinedandthecomponentsrenewed
wherenecessary.Underarduousoperating
conditions,theseintervalsmustbereduced.

POWERSTEERINGTOP-UP
ONLYcheckthefluidlevelwhentheengineis
switchedoffandthesystemiscoldand
ensurethatthesteeringwheelisnotturned
afterstoppingtheengine.
Wipethefillercaptopreventdirtfrom
enteringthereservoir.

Powersteeringfluidishighlytoxic-keep
containerssealedandoutofthereachof
children.Ifconsumptionofpowersteering
fluidissuspected,seekmedicalattention
immediately.
Removethefillercapand,usingalint-free
cloth,wipethedipstickclean.Refitthefiller
capfullyandremoveitagaintocheckthefluid
level.Addfluidtothereservoiruntilthelevel
isbetweentheuppermarkandthebottomof
thedipstick(see’Generaldata’for
