Rearjackingpoint:
Beforepositioningthejack,ensurethattheair
suspensionsystemisfrozen(keyremoved
fromstarterswitch,hazardlightsswitchedon,
andtailgateopen).Ifthevehiclehad
previouslysettledtoLowrideheight(or
Access),itwillbenecessarytoimprove
accessbeneaththevehiclebystartingthe
engineandraisingthevehicletoStandardor
Highrideheightbeforepositioningthejack.
Alwayspositionthejackfromthefrontorrear
ofthevehicledirectlyinlinewiththejacking
points.
Pushthemudflap(iffitted)upoverthetyre
toallowclearaccess.Positionthejacksothat,
whenraised,itengageswiththerearaxle
casingimmediatelybelowtheairspringand
ascloseaspossibletotheshockabsorber
mountingbracket(seeillustration).
Frontjackingpoint:
Positionthejacksothat,whenraised,itwill
engagewiththefrontaxlecasingimmediately
belowtheairspring(seeillustration).The
cradleofthejackmustlocatebetweentheend
oftheaxleandthepointwheretheradiusarm
attachestotheaxle(seeillustration).

jackingleverthroughouttominimiseany
accidentalcontactwithahotexhaust
