structureofthebody(pelvis,chestand
shoulders)andcanonlybewornsafelywith
theseatsinthenormalUPRIGHTposition;DO
NOTallowthefrontpassengertotravelwith
theseatsteeplyreclined.(Seealso’Seating

Fasteninglapbelts
Therearcentralseatingpositionisfittedwith
alapbelt.Toadjust,pulltheslider(arrowedin
illustration)alongthebeltandfeedthe
webbingthroughthebuckleuntilthebeltis
comfortablytight.Insertthemetaltongue
plateintothelocknearesttothecentreofthe
vehicle.
Upperanchorageadjustment
Theheightoftheseatbeltupperanchorage
canbeadjustedforcomfortANDsafety.Press
andholdthebutton(arrowedintheupper
illustration)toraiseorlower.
Formaximumbenefit,theseatbeltshould
alwaysbewornwiththewebbingcrossingthe
shoulderMIDWAYBETWEENTHENECKAND
THEEDGEOFTHESHOULDER.
Ensurethattheanchoragehas’clicked’into
oneofthelockedpositionsbeforedriving.
