Ensurethatthespaceunderandaround
thevehicleisfreefromobstructionasit
islowered.
Operatingthejack
Slotthetwopartsofthejacklevertogether,
ensuringthatthespringclipprotrudesfrom
theengagementslotwherethetwopartsjoin
(seeinset’A’).Closethejackreleasevalveby
usingthenotchedendofthejacklevertoturn
thevalvefullyclockwise(seeinset’B’ ).Insert
theleverintothesocketasshown(inset’C’)
andtwistthelevertolockitintothesocket.
Pumptheleverupanddowntoraisethejack.
Tolowerthejack,withdrawtheleverandslot
thenotchedendoverthepegsontherelease
valve.Slowlyturnthereleasevalve
anti-clockwise,allowingtheweightofthe
vehicletolowerthejack.
