gearchanging(particularlyonmanual

Afterdrivingoff-road
Beforerejoiningthepublichighway,or
drivingatspeedsabove25mph(40
km/h),considerationshouldbegivento
thefollowing:
Wheelsandtyresmustbecleanedof
mudandinspectedfordamage-
ensuretherearenolumpsorbulges
inthetyresorexposureoftheplyor
cordstructure.
SelectthehighestsuitablegearandREMAIN
inthatgearuntilafirmsurfaceisreached.It
isgenerallyadvisabletouseLOWrange
gears,asthesewillenableyoutoaccelerate
throughworseningconditionswithouttherisk
ofbeingunabletorestart.
Brakediscsandcalipersshouldbe
examinedandanystonesorgritthat
mayaffectbrakingefficiency
removed.
Servicingrequirements
Vehiclesoperatedinarduousconditions,
particularlyondusty,muddyorwet
terrain,andvehiclesundergoingfrequent
ordeepwadingconditionswillrequire
morefrequentservicing.SeeOwner
maintenanceandcontactaLandRover
dealerforadvice.
Inaddition:
Afterwadinginsaltwaterordrivingon
sandybeaches,useahosetothoroughly
washtheunderbodycomponentsandany
exposedbodypanelswithfreshwater.

cosmeticappearance.
