SelectthehighestsuitablegearandREMAIN
inthatgearuntilafirmsurfaceisreached.It
isgenerallyadvisabletouseLOWrange
gears,asthesewillenableyoutoaccelerate
throughworseningconditionswithouttherisk
ofbeingunabletorestart.

Brakediscsandcalipersshouldbe
examinedandanystonesorgritthat
mayaffectbrakingefficiency
removed.
Servicingrequirements
Vehiclesoperatedinarduousconditions,
particularlyondusty,muddyorwet
terrain,andvehiclesundergoingfrequent
ordeepwadingconditionswillrequire
