Programming remote transmitters
Itisnecessarytohaveall(maximumoffour—originaland/ornew)of
yourremotetransmittersavailablepriortobeginningthisprocedure.
Toprogramthetransmittersyourself:

Placethekeyintheignitionand
turnfrom2(LOCK)to3(OFF)
andcyclebetween3(OFF)and
4

eighttimesinrapid
succession(within10seconds)
withtheeighthturnendinginthe

(ON)position.Thedoorswill
lock/unlocktoconfirmthat
programmingmodehasbeen
entered.

Within20seconds,programa
remotetransmitterbypressinganybuttononatransmitter.Thedoors
willlock/unlocktoconfirmthattheremotetransmitterhasbeen
programmed.(Ifmorethan20secondspassbeforepressingaremote
transmitterbutton,theprogrammingmodewillexitandtheprocedure
willhavetoberepeated.)

Repeattheprevioussteptoprogramadditionalremotetransmitters.
Thedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirmthateachremotetransmitterhas
beenprogrammed.
Whenyouhavecompletedprogrammingtheremotetransmitters,turn
theignitionto3(OFF).Againthedoorswilllock/unlocktoconfirm
programminghasbeencompleted.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsilluminatewhentheremoteentrysystemisusedto
unlockthedoor(s)orsoundthepersonalalarm.
Thesystemautomaticallyturnsoffafter25secondsorwhentheignition
isturnedtotheRUNorACCposition.Thedomelampcontrol(if
equipped)mustnotbesettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminatedentry
systemtooperate.
