automaticallyenabledwhenthegear
selectorisplacedinR(Reverse)
andtheignitionisON.Areverse
sensingcontrolallowsthedriverto
disablethereversesensingsystem
onlywhentheignitionisON,and
thegearselectorisinR(Reverse).
TheOFFindicatorremainsilluminatedwhenthesystemisdisabled.The
systemdefaultstoONeverytimethereversegearisselected.Pressthe
controltodisableorenablethesystem.
Theindicatorwillremainilluminatedtoindicateafailureofthereverse
sensingsystem.
Alwayskeepthesensors(locatedontherearbumper/fascia)free
fromdirt,snowandice(donotcleanthesensorswithsharp
objects).Theseelementsmaycausethesystemtooperate
inaccurately.
Ifthevehiclesustainsdamagetotherearbumper/fascia,leaving
itmisalignedorbent,thesensingzonemaybealteredcausing
inaccuratemeasurementofobstaclesorfalsealarms.
