shoulderbeltsothebeltrests
acrossthemiddleofyourshoulder.
Tolowertheshoulderbeltheight,
pushthebuttonandslidetheheight
adjusterdown.Toraisetheheight
oftheshoulderbelt,slidetheheight
adjusterup.Pulldownontheheight
adjustertomakesureitislockedin
place.
Positiontheshoulderbeltheightadjusterssothatthebeltrests
acrossthemiddleofyourshoulder.Failuretoadjustthesafety
beltproperlycouldreducetheeffectivenessoftheseatbeltand
increasetheriskofinjuryinacollision.
Safety belt extension assembly
Ifthesafetybeltassemblyistooshortforyou,evenwhenfully
extended,20cm(8inches)canbeaddedtothesafetybeltassemblyby
addingasafetybeltextensionassembly(partnumber611C22).Safety
beltextensionassembliescanbeobtainedfromyourdealeratnocost.
Useonlyextensionsmanufacturedbythesamesupplierasthesafety
belt.Manufactureridentificationislocatedattheendofthewebbingon
thelabel.Also,usethesafetybeltextensiononlyifthesafetybeltistoo
shortforyouwhenfullyextended.Donotuseextensionstochangethe
fitoftheshoulderbeltacrossthetorso.
Safety belt warning light and indicator chime
Theseatbeltwarninglightilluminatesintheinstrumentclusteranda
chimesoundstoremindtheoccupantstofastentheirsafetybelts.
