Thereardefrostercontrolislocated
ontheinstrumentpanel.
Pressthereardefrostercontrolto
cleartherearwindowofthinice
andfog.
•
AsmallLEDwillilluminatewhenthereardefrosterisactivated.
TheignitionmustbeintheONpositiontooperatetherearwindow
defroster.
Thedefrosterturnsoffautomaticallyafter10minutesorwhenthe
ignitionisturnedtotheOFFposition.Tomanuallyturnoffthedefroster
before10minuteshavepassed,pushthecontrolagain.
4WD CONTROL (IF EQUIPPED)
Thiscontroloperatesthe4WD.
RefertotheDrivingchapterfor
moreinformation.
REVERSE SENSING SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Thereversesensingsystem(RSS)soundsatonetowarnthedriverof
obstaclesneartherearbumperwhenthereversegearisselected.
Tohelpavoidpersonalinjury,pleasereadandunderstandthe
limitationsonthereversesensingsystemdescribedbelow.
Reversesensingisonlyanassistforsome(generallylargeandfixed)
objectswhenmovinginreverseonaflatsurfaceat“parkingspeeds”of
approximately6km/h(4mph)orless.Theweathermayalsoaffectthe
functionofRSS.RSSmayhavereducedperformance,orbeactivated
ininclementweather.Itisthedriver’sresponsibilityforensuringthat
theirpathisclearwhenoperatingthevehicle.
