OillevelsabovetheletterFinFULLortheMAXmarkmaycause
enginedamage.Someoilmustberemovedfromtheenginebya
servicetechnician.

Puttheindicatorbackinandensureitisfullyseated.
Adding engine oil
Checktheengineoil.Forinstructions,refertoCheckingtheengine
oilinthischapter.
Iftheengineoillevelisnotwithinthenormalrange,addonlycertified

engineoiloftherecommendedviscosity.Removetheengineoilfillercap
anduseafunneltopourtheengineoilintotheopening.

MAXmarkortheletterFinFULLontheengineoillevelindicator
(dipstick).
Rechecktheengineoillevel.Makesuretheoillevelisnotabovethe

Installtheindicatorandensureitisfullyseated.
5.
Fullyinstalltheengineoilfillercapbyturningthefillercapclockwise
untilthreeclickscanbeheard.
Toavoidpossibleoilloss,DONOToperatethevehiclewiththe
engineoillevelindicatorand/ortheengineoilfillercapremoved.
