throughthefloorducts.However,theairwillnotbecooledbelowthe
outsidetemperaturebecausetheairconditioningdoesnotoperatein
thismode.
(Flooranddefrost)-Distributesoutsideairthroughthe
windshielddefrosterductsandthefloorducts.Heatingandair
conditioningcapabilitiesareprovidedinthismode.Foradded
customercomfort,whenthetemperaturecontrolknobisanywherein
betweenthefullhotandfullcoldpositions,theairdistributedthrough
thefloorductswillbeslightlywarmerthantheairsenttothe
windshielddefrostducts.Ifthetemperatureisabout6°C(43°F)or
higher,theairconditionerwillautomaticallydehumidifytheairto
reducefogging.

(Defrost)-Distributesoutsideairthroughthewindshield
defrosterducts.Itcanbeusedtocleariceorfogfromthewindshield.
Ifthetemperatureisabout6°C(43°F)orhigher,theairconditioner
willautomaticallydehumidifytheairtoreducefogging.
Operating tips

Inhumidweatherconditions,placetheclimatecontrolsystemin
beforedriving.Thiswillreducefoggingonyourwindshield.Oncethe
windshieldhasbeencleared,operatetheclimatecontrolsystemas
desired.

conditions,don’tdrivewiththeclimatecontrolsystemintheOFFor
MAXA/Cposition.

Undernormalweatherconditions,yourvehicle’sclimatecontrol
systemshouldbeleftinanypositionotherthanMAXA/CorOFF
whenthevehicleisparked.Thisallowsthevehicleto“breathe”
throughtheoutsideairinletduct.
