Tires, Wheels and Loading
WARNING: Onlyusereplacementtiresandwheelsthatarethe
samesize,loadindex,speedratingandtype(suchasP-metric
versusLT-metricorall-seasonversusall-terrain)asthose
originallyprovidedbyMazda.Therecommendedtireandwheel
sizemaybefoundoneithertheSafetyComplianceCertification
LabelortheTireLabelwhichislocatedontheB-Pillaroredge
ofthedriver’sdoor.Ifthisinformationisnotfoundonthese
labelsthenyoushouldconsultyourMazdadealer.Useofany
tireorwheelnotrecommendedbyMazdacanaffectthesafety
andperformanceofyourvehicle,whichcouldresultinan
increasedriskoflossofvehiclecontrol,vehiclerollover,
personalinjuryanddeath.Additionallytheuseof
non-recommendedtiresandwheelscouldcausesteering,
suspension,axleortransfercase/powertransferunitfailure.If
youhavequestionsregardingtirereplacement,seean
authorizeddealer.
WARNING: Whenmountingreplacementtiresandwheels,you
shouldnotexceedthemaximumpressureindicatedonthe
sidewallofthetiretosetthebeadswithoutadditional
precautionslistedbelow.Ifthebeadsdonotseatatthe
maximumpressureindicated,re-lubricateandtryagain.
Wheninflatingthetireformountingpressuresupto20psi
greaterthanthemaximumpressureonthetiresidewall,the
followingprecautionsmustbetakentoprotecttheperson
mountingthetire:

Makesurethatyouhavethecorrecttireandwheelsize.

Standataminimumof12feetawayfromthetirewheelassembly.
Usebotheyeandearprotection.
Alwaysinflatesteelcarcasstireswitharemoteairfillwiththeperson
inflatingstandingataminimumof12ft.awayfromthetirewheel
assembly.
Important:Remembertoreplacethewheelvalvestemswhentheroad
tiresarereplacedonyourvehicle.
