Troubleshooting:

Donotconnecttheaudioinputjacktoalineleveloutput.Linelevel
outputsareintendedforconnectiontoahomestereoandarenot
compatiblewiththeAIJ.TheAIJwillonlyworkcorrectlywith
devicesthathaveaheadphoneoutputwithavolumecontrol.

Donotsettheportablemusicplayer’svolumelevelhigherthanis
necessarytomatchthevolumeoftheCDorFMradioinyouraudio
systemasthiswillcausedistortionandwillreducesoundquality.
Manyportablemusicplayershavedifferentoutputlevels,sonotall
playersshouldbesetatthesamelevels.Someplayerswillsound
bestatfullvolumeandotherswillneedtobesetatalowervolume.

Ifthemusicsoundsdistortedatlowerlisteninglevels,turnthe
portablemusicplayervolumedown.Iftheproblemspersists,replace
orrechargethebatteriesintheportablemusicplayer.
Theportablemusicplayermustbecontrolledinthesamemanner
whenitisusedwithheadphonesastheAIJdoesnotprovidecontrol
(play,pause,etc.)overtheattachedportablemusicplayer.
Forsafetyreasons,connectingoradjustingthesettingsonyour
portablemusicplayershouldnotbeattemptedwhilethevehicleis
moving.Also,theportablemusicplayershouldbestoredinasecure
location,suchasthecenterconsoleortheglovebox,whenthe
vehicleisinmotion.Theaudioextensioncablemustbelongenough
toallowtheportablemusicplayertobesafelystoredwhilethe
vehicleisinmotion.
