BRAKE FLUID
Thefluidlevelwilldropslowlyas
thebrakeswear,andwillrisewhen
thebrakecomponentsarereplaced.
Fluidlevelsbetweenthe“MIN”and
“MAX”linesarewithinthenormal
operatingrange;thereisnoneedto
addfluid.Ifthefluidlevelsare
outsideofthenormaloperating
rangetheperformanceofthe
systemcouldbecompromised;seek
servicefromyourauthorizeddealer
immediately.
CLUTCH FLUID (IF EQUIPPED)
Checkthefluidlevel.Refertoscheduledmaintenancefortheservice
intervalschedules.
Duringnormaloperation,thefluidlevelintheclutchreservoirshould
remainconstant.Ifthefluidleveldrops,refillthefluidleveltothestep
inthereservoir.
UseonlyaDOT3brakefluiddesignedtomeetMazdaspecification.
RefertoMaintenanceproductspecificationsandcapacitiesinthis
chapter.
