position.
Fuel Filler Cap
Yourfueltankfillercaphasanindexeddesignwitha1/4turnon/off
feature.
Whenfuelingyourvehicle:

Turntheengineoff.
Carefullyturnthefillercapcounterclockwise1/4ofaturntoremove
it.

Pulltoremovethecapfromthefuelfillerpipe.
Toinstallthecap,alignthetabsonthecapwiththenotchesonthe
fillerpipe.

Turnthefillercapclockwise1/4ofaturnuntilitclicksatleastonce.
Ifthecheckfuelcaplamp
ora“checkfuelcap”messagecomeson,
thefuelfillercapmaynotbeproperlyinstalled.Thelampormessage
cancomeonafterseveraldrivingeventsafteryou’verefueledyour
vehicle.
Atthenextopportunity,safelypulloffoftheroad,removethefuelfiller
cap,alignthecapproperlyandreinstallit.Thecheckfuelcap
lamp
or“checkfuelcap”messagemaynotresetimmediately;itmay
takeseveraldrivingcyclesforthecheckfuelcaplamp or“checkfuel
cap”messagetoturnoff.Adrivingcycleconsistsofanenginestart-up
(afterfourormorehourswiththeengineoff)followedbycityand
highwaydriving.
