Avoidsuddenapplicationsofpowerandquickchangesofdirectionon
snowandice.Applytheacceleratorslowlyandsteadilywhenstarting
fromafullstop.
Whenbraking,applythebrakesasyounormallywould.Inordertoallow
theanti-lockbrakesystem(ABS)tooperateproperly,keepsteady
pressureonthebrakepedal.
Allowmorestoppingdistanceanddriveslowerthanusual.Consider
usingoneofthelowergears.
TRACTION-LOK AXLE (IF EQUIPPED)
Thisaxleprovidesaddedtractiononslipperysurfaces,particularlywhen
onewheelisonapoortractionsurface.Undernormalconditions,the
Traction-Lokaxlefunctionslikeastandardrearaxle.
Extendeduseofotherthanthemanufacturer’sspecifiedsizetiresona
Traction-Lokrearaxlecouldresultinapermanentreductionin
effectiveness.Thislossofeffectivenessdoesnotaffectnormaldriving
andshouldnotbenoticeabletothedriver.
Toavoidinjury,neverruntheenginewithonewheeloffthe
ground,suchaswhenchangingatire.
