Procedure to program spare SecuriLockி keys to your vehicle
NewSecuriLockkeysmusthavethecorrectmechanicalkeycutfor
yourvehicle.
Conventional(non-SecuriLock)keyscannotbeprogrammedtoyour
vehicle.
YouwillneedtohavetwopreviouslyprogrammedSecuriLockkeysand
thenewunprogrammedSecuriLockkeyreadilyaccessibleforthe
procedure.Pleasereadandunderstandtheentireprocedurebeforeyou
begin.
1.
ignitionswitchandturntheignitionfromOFFtoRUN(maintainignition
inRUNforatleastonesecond).
InsertthefirstpreviouslyprogrammedSecuriLockkeyintothe

TurnignitiontoOFFandremovethefirstSecuriLockkeyfromthe
ignitionswitch.
3.
WithinfivesecondsofturningtheignitiontoOFF,insertthesecond
previouslyprogrammedSecuriLockkeyintotheignitionswitchand
turntheignitionfromOFFtoRUN(maintainignitioninRUNforatleast
onesecondbutnomorethan5seconds).
4.
TurntheignitiontoOFFandremovethesecondSecuriLockkey
fromtheignitionswitch.
5.
Within10secondsofturningtheignitiontoOFF,insertthe
unprogrammedSecuriLockkey(newkey)intotheignitionswitchand
turntheignitionfromOFFtoRUN(maintainignitionswitchinRUNfor
atleastonesecond).ThisstepwillprogramyournewSecuriLockkey.
6.
IfitisdesiredtoprogramadditionalSecuriLockkey(s),repeatthis
procedurefromstep1.
Iftheprogrammingprocedurewassuccessful,thenewSecuriLock
key(s)willstartthevehicle’sengine.Thetheftindicator(locatedonthe
instrumentcluster)willlightforthreesecondsandthengoout.
Iftheprogrammingprocedurewasnotsuccessful,thenewSecuriLock
key(s)willnotoperatethevehicle’sengine.Thetheftindicatorwillflash
onandoff.Waitatleastoneminuteandthenrepeattheprocedurefrom
step1.Iffailurerepeats,bringyourvehicletoyourdealershiptohave
thespareSecuriLockkey(s)programmed.
