Cleaning the built-in child seat (if equipped)
Cleanwithmildsoapandwater.Donotusehouseholdcleaningproducts
becausetheymayweakenthesafetybeltwebbingordamagethevinyl
partsoftheseat.
Thechildseatlinerisremovableandmaybemachine-washedandair
dried.
Underbody
Flushthecompleteundersideofvehiclefrequently.Keepbodydrain
holesunplugged.Inspectforroaddamage.
Cleaning leather seats (if equipped)
Forroutinecleaning,wipethesurfacewithasoft,dampcloth.Formore
thoroughcleaning,wipethesurfacewithamildsoap.
Iftheleathercannotbecompletelycleanedusingamildsoapandwater
solution,theleathermaybecleanedusingacommerciallyavailable
cleaningproduct‘‘TannersPreserveLeatherCleaner’’anda3M‘‘TypeT’’
scrubbingpadbyusingthefollowingsteps;

Sprayasmallamountoftheleathercleaneronthepadandrubthe

oftheareaatatime.Forheavilysoiledareas,spraythecleaner
directlyontotheleather(twosquirtsshouldbeadequate)andrub
withthepad.Repeatifnecessary.

Useasoft,dampclothtoremovethelooseneddirtandfoam.
Drywithasoftcloth.
Donotusehouseholdcleaners,glasscleaner,alcoholsolutionsor
cleanerintendedforvinyl,rubberorplastics.Theseproductscan
damagetheleather.
Insomeinstances,colorordyetransfercanoccurwhenwet
clothing(wool,denim,leathersorothernon-colorfastgarments)
