Donotremovelampbulbsunlesstheycanbereplacedimmediatelywith
newones.Ifabulbisremovedforanextendedperiodoftime,
contaminantsmayenterthelamphousingsandaffectlampperformance.
Replacing headlamp bulbs
Handleahalogenheadlampbulbcarefullyandkeepoutof
children’sreach.Graspthebulbonlybyitsplasticbaseanddo
nottouchtheglass.Theoilfromyourhandcouldcausethebulbto
breakthenexttimetheheadlampsareoperated.
Ifthebulbisaccidentallytouched,itshouldbecleanedwithrubbing
alcoholbeforebeingused.
Toremovetheheadlampbulb:
1.
youarereplacingthedriversideheadlamp,uncliptheelectronicmodule
ontherightsideofthebatteryandmoveitoutoftheway.
MakesureheadlampswitchisinOFFposition,thenopenthehood.If

Locatetheheadlampbulbthroughtheholeintheupperradiator
supportassembly.
3.
Disconnecttheelectrical
connectorfromthebulbbypulling
theconnectorrearward.
4.
Removethebulbretainingringby
rotatingitcounterclockwise(when
viewedfromtherear)aboutan
eighthofaturntofreeitfromthe
bulbsocket,andbyslidingthering
offtheplasticbase.Keepthering
becauseitwillbeusedagainto
retainthenewbulb.
