Usethebuilt-inchildseatonlyifthechildisatleast9monthsold,
weighs9–29kg(20–60lb)andthechild’sshoulders(top)arebelowthe
shoulderharnessslotsinthebuilt-inchildseat.
Childrennotmeetingtheserequirementsshouldbesecuredinan
approvedaftermarketseat.RefertoChildrenandinfantorchild
safetyseatsinthischapter.
Placing your child in the  built-in child seat
Failuretofollowalloftheinstructionsontheuseofthischild
restraintsystemcanresultinyourchildstrikingthevehicle’s
interiorduringasuddenstoporcrash.
