andyourfootonthebrakepedal,
starttheengineandmovethe
gearshiftleverthroughallofthe
gearranges.Allowsufficienttime
foreachgeartoengage.

LatchthegearshiftleverinP
(Park)andleavetheenginerunning.

Removethedipstick,wipingitcleanwithaclean,drylintfreerag.
Installthedipstickmakingsureitisfullyseatedinthefillertube.
Removethedipstickandinspectthefluidlevel.Thefluidlevelshould
bewithinthetopholeareaonthedipstick.
Ifnecessary,addfluidin250ml(1/2pint)incrementsthroughthefiller
tubeuntiltheleveliscorrect.

Ifanoverfilloccurs,excessfluidshouldberemovedbyaqualified
technician.
Anoverfillconditionoftransmissionfluidmaycauseshiftand/or
engagementconcernsand/orpossibledamage.
Ifthefluidlevelisabovethe
crosshatch(hotoperatingrange)
areaafterdrivingthevehiclefor
approximately30km(20miles),
excesstransmissionfluidshouldbe
removedbyaqualifiedtechnician.
