temperature,theneedleremains
withinthenormalarea(thearea
betweenthe‘‘H’’and‘‘C’’).Ifit
enterstheredsection,theengineis
overheating.Stopthevehicleas
soonassafelypossible,switchoff
theignitionandlettheenginecool.
RefertoEnginecoolantinthe
Maintenanceandcarechapter.

recoverycapwhilethe
engineisrunningorhot.
Thisgaugeindicatesthetemperatureoftheenginecoolant,notthe
coolantlevel.Ifthecoolantisnotatitsproperlevelormixture,the
gaugeindicationwillnotbeaccurate.

Registersthetotalkilometers
