vehicle.Eachtimeyoustartyourvehicle,theSecuriLock௢keyisread
bytheSecuriLock௢anti-theftsystem.IftheSecuriLock௢key
identificationcodematchesthecodestoredintheSecuriLock௢
anti-theftsystem,thevehicle’sengineisallowedtostart.Ifthe
SecuriLock௢keyidentificationcodedoesnotmatchthecodestoredin
thesystemorifaSecuriLock௢keyisnotdetected(vehicletheft
situation),thevehicle’senginewillnotoperate.
SpareSecuriLock௢keyscanbepurchasedfromyourdealershipand
programmedtoyourSecuriLock௢anti-theftsystem.Referto
ProgrammingspareSecuriLock௢keysformoreinformation.
IfoneorbothofyourSecuriLock௢keysarelostorstolenandyouwant
toensurethelostorstolenkeywillnotoperateyourvehicle,bringyour
vehicleandallavailableSecuriLock௢keystoyourdealershipfor
reinitialization.
Theft indicator
Thetheftindicatorontheinstrumentclusterwilloperateasfollows:

WhentheignitionisOFF,thetheftindicatorwillflashbrieflyevery2
secondstoindicatetheSecuriLock௢systemisprotectingyour
vehicle.

WhentheignitionisturnedtoRUNorSTART,thetheftindicatorwill
lightfor3secondsandthengoout.Ifthetheftindicatorstaysonfor
anextendedperiodoftimeorflashesrapidly,havethesystem
servicedbyyourdealershiporaqualifiedtechnician.
Programming spare SecuriLockி keys
SpareSecuriLock௢keyscanbepurchasedfromyourdealershipand
programmedtoyourSecuriLock௢anti-theftsystem(uptoatotalof8
keys).YourdealershipcanprogramyournewSecuriLock௢key(s)to
yourvehicleoryoucandoityourselfusingthefollowingsimple
procedure.ToprogramanewSecuriLock௢keyyourself,youwillneed
twopreviouslyprogrammedSecuriLock௢keys(keysthatalready
operateyourvehicle’sengine).Iftwopreviouslyprogrammed
SecuriLock௢keysarenotavailable(oneorbothofyouroriginalkeys
werelostorstolen),youmustbringyourvehicletoyourdealershipto
havethespareSecuriLock௢key(s)programmed.
